Good Energies Alliance Ireland EVS volunteers Irina, Olga and Santi joined a gathering of Young Friends of the Earth members in Borris and Kilkenny on last weekend of September. Young FOE are building a network of young people concerned about the environment and climate change and eager to look for new ways of tackling problems.

During this meeting GEAI director Aedín McLoughlin also gave a presentation on the current situation of fracking in Ireland.

Good Energies Alliance Ireland is a Youth in Action hosting organisation, with three  volunteers from Spain, Romania and Ukraine hosted this year through the European Voluntary Service (EVS).   This scheme is funded by the EU Erasmus+ programme.
