Renewable Electricity Support Scheme (RESS) submission

On September 4th 2017 a Public Consultation on the Design of a new Renewable Electricity Support Scheme (RESS) was launched by the Department of Communications, Climate Action and Environment. This public consultation’s objective is to increase the development of indigenous  renewable energies while supporting the decline of fossil fuels dependence.

Given the crucial importance of the adoption of the new RESS Scheme, GEAI took this opportunity to reaffirm the key role that micro-scale energy generation must play in the transition towards a low carbon economy.
